Hiking and trekking at Lake Idro

A lot of people believe that hiking can take place everywhere. But… this is only half of the truths; many people realize this, when they hike in the area of Lake Idro – by the way this goes for both advanced and beginners.

Individuel trips at Lake Idro

A myriad of hiking areas are located around Lake Idro. E.g. if you go from the campsite (370 meter over sea surface), you are heading directly to Monte Stino (1450 meter over sea surface), which is located above the charming village Bagolino in the direction of Passo Croce Domini or Lake-Vacca, or you can go by car to the wonderful Valle di Daone to hike at the foot of the Adamello glacier. We have something for everybody!

Guided mountain walks

In high season, we regulary arrange guided mountain walks in different hiking areas in different severities. Further guided walks are offered from the tourist information.

Trips for smaller and larger groups – f.ex. families

If you want to be a small group, or if you wish to be a part of a real mountain walk together with the mountain guide (f.ex. to Dolomiti di Brenta or Madonna di Campiglio), you can book it at the Sportcamp Rio Vantone. We will be more than happy to establish contact with a suitable and well educated mountain guides.
